We cannot thank Ben enough for his help throughout our home buying journey as First Time Buyers in the first half of this year. Navigating a such a fast paced market as FTB was a bit daunting at times especially with the way mortgage rates were fluctuating but Ben was always on hand to reassure us that things would work out and rates would settle. We weren't in what the market would class as the most ideal buying situation as my partner has a less conventional employment history (working contract in TV) which some advisors at other firms told us would make getting a Mortgage deal approved impossible, yet Ben reassured us while it could make things a little more challenging there were definitely deals available to people in our situation. On top of an unconventional employment history we initially had an offer accepted on what turned out to be an unconventional property to get a mortgage on; Ben truly went above and beyond working our case trying to get this to work out, even turning to specialised lenders to try and get us a deal but sadly that property wasn't meant to be and we had to pull out. As heartbreaking as that was at the time this experience led us to finding the property we have now purchased 🎉 though this came with a whole different set of worries being at the very very top end of our budget; despite this Ben put our minds at ease and was able to work his magic to secure us a good deal. Ben was a constant source of support and guidance throughout the whole process. He and Zarah our Case Manager were always there to answer our questions when they would arise and were super responsive to our emails. Whenever we had a question or concern, they would get back to us promptly with all the information we needed. Not only is Ben incredibly knowledgeable about the mortgage process, but he is also kind and understanding. We also really appreciated that up until we exchanged they kept an eye on rates for us to see if any better deals came up that we would be able to switch to. We would highly recommend Ben as a mortgage advisor and Mortgage Scout. Ben made the home buying process much smoother, we can't thank you enough for all your help!
